I did have to disable inkview_translates_buttons to get it to work in koreader. Thanks for pointing that out! |

Pocketbook quality is really poor.
As owner of Touch HD 2: - Software updates support was ended really soon - poor quality microSD card as internal storage is just pure evil and anti-consumer move. On top of that if you want to revive YOUR device you need to do some hacking with random forum threads or pay Pocketbook Russia to send you new image... I also had encountered other miscellaneous bugs with PB software (not huge deal, but this isn't how polished product looks like). |

EDIT: It works! Thanks ![]() For everyone who wants to fix it: Connect your Pocketbook to your Computer and open the following file: koreader/frontend/device/pocketbook /device.lua Search there for your device (for me it was the era color) and the line: inkview_translates_buttons change from true to false Afterwards reboot KOReader. And BÄM rotation works with the buttons as intended ![]() Last edited by Ruff_d; 09-24-2024 at 03:48 AM. |

I’ve managed to fix mine by following the instructions on the aforementioned forums with the help of Google Translate. Last edited by DJUNGELSKOG; 09-25-2024 at 03:47 AM. |

The deal-breaker for a a lot of Kobo uses is not being able to up the weight of side loaded fonts.

I do hope there will be a weight adjustment option in the stock reader. |

I would not be buying a Pocketbook to use with KOReader. I would want it to use with RMSDK. But I also want the font-weight to be adjustable for side-loaded fonts.

- With the Kindle ones I can't find their files (again!) to download them to whichever program may convert them. I found a YouTube video with someone explaining this but she got the files through a link on her Kindle app library page which is missing on mine. My library menu only contains All items, Downloaded items, Documents, Collections whereas hers also contains Archived items, which leads her to the downloadable book files. Is it a question of updating my Kindle app, or is it hers that are old (the video is 11 y. o.)? - With the googles when I try to download them (most of them, the very old books I was able to download as pdf's) I get the message "e_google_device_limit_reached". I contacted GooglePlay help through ther chatline and was attended to by what totally read like an AI, which promised to contact their specialists, who would email me - they haven't. I hope some of you guys can help me with this one again. Many thanks in advance. |

Log into Amazon web, go to your account, Content and Devices, Books, click on the "More Actions" for the book you want and select "Download and Install Over USB". That will download the ebook in AZW3 format which you can then import into Calibre to strip DRM and convert to another format for a non-Amazon ereader or PC program to open and read like EPUB. Unfortunately, you have to do it for every book one by one. As for the Google books, I don't use them and can't help. |
