eReaderOutfitters is the vendor. I had an order with them for a new unit. Now I'm doing the ebay thing.

The bad news is it's been used the good news is that I can just do the 35 hour battery life hack on it.

I don't have official information from iRex management, but the person I contacted says that this rumor is partially true. There currently is an issue, but they are trying to resolve it so that they can continue distributing to North America. It does not sound like they plan on discontinuing the product.

The contact I have said that once they have an official word from their management, they'll post an announcement about it on their forum.

No wonder I have not heard from them since I ordered and paid on April 16. It is still showing pending dispatch. This is so frustrating! My emails to them are not getting anywhere..........

Sometimes it can take a couple days to get a response. They're a small company and also just released a firmware update for the DR1000, so they're probably really busy right now.

Thanks, I really hope that they will reply back. I am getting this for my wife and I think that this is something that she will really like. That's why I am still hoping that the order will come through.

I have waited and waited for almost 2 months now since I ordered and paid on April 16. They are still not shipping out my order and not telling me anything about my order. This is so frustrating. Is there no other way of getting them to pay for my endless waiting ?
