The Williard Brothers Trilogy by Darrel Bain. That guy tells a good tale without overly dripping on the message.

Read the reviews and sounds interesting I'll might give it a try.

Oh yeah. I'm rereading it myself as well. What else do you read during a pandemic?

(BTW - my husband thinks he's getting a cold. But I know better! )

Isolate him and socially distance yourself from him. Does he have a toolshed where he may be held captive?

Hello everyone!!

At the moment I am reading 'A Fountain Filled With Blood' by Julia Spencer- Fleming. Well written, my first book by this author.

My next purchase / read will be 'Hell House' by one of my favorite authors Richard Matheson. I have it in PB back but I want for my Sony Reader too.

Hmm, well, yes, actually, we have a Tuff Shed!

Of course, he might enjoy that too much!

Speaking as a man, just put me in a shed with some beer and my reader and I'd be a happy camper. Ahh, the quiet!

Of course, when I get out I'll make you feel guilty for putting me there and ask for some "concessions".

Why not read In the Bleak Midwinter since it's the first book of the series?

Told ya so!! Love the Dresden books. Codex Alera, not so much.

I finished Veiled Deception and it was excellent! Now I'm on Miranda Bliss's first Cooking Class Mystery, Cooking up Murder.

Finished Hideaway and now on to Fool. Was a little put off at first but after a few pages it defiinitely started to grab me. Like all Christopher Moore books sometimes you just have to sit back and let it come and this one is actually shaping up to be the most rewarding of them all. It is a somewhat comic take on the King Lear story in case anyone is interested.
