			Hi Jerry,

Any other language you could speak? First, have a look here, there is a link for the firmware 3.5 for the Poke 5. https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=357269 Side point, how did you brick it? Can you still access fastboot and try to switch the active slot? |

just i can speak korean T.T sorry but I'll try to use a translator I tried to replace the Chinese version with global firmware. (poke5 >> poke5p) I updated it with 3.5.1 latest firmware and proceeded with 3.5.1 global firmware poke5p update.upx file But it failed and became a brick. Currently, recovery mode entry is possible. maby i can access fastboot and try to switch the active slot I can't wipe data/factory reset The latest 3.5.1 firmware is not solved. Fingerprint in recoverymode is Onyx/Poke5/Poke5:11/2023-07-14_11-09_3.3.2_227a170ec/5432:user/dev-keys. So I guess it will be solved by 3.3.2, the fingerprint in recovery mode Thank you for listening to me. |

How did you try to update with 3.5.1?

Did you decrypt it to update.zip? Did you use recovery? Over ADB? I'll see if I can turn my Poke5 Chinese and then back with 3.5.1 |

Currently, recovery mode can be entered. Let me list the work I did in chronological order. My device was the Chinese version. 1. 3.5.1 Normal update 2. I want 3.5.1 To change the Chinese version to the 3.5.1 global version 3. so i did decrypt it to update.zip (poke5p) 4. but A partition error occurred during installation Factory initialization in recovery mode 5. The fingerprint in recovery mode is marked 3.3.2 6. So I was looking for 3.3.2 firmware.(update.zip) I'm sorry that my English is not good. and Thank you for listening to me |

Sorry @jerrymarley I somehow missed your response.

You had the Poke5P 3.5.1 decrypted and recovery wouldn't install it? I'm not surprised. I have a custom recovery that can flash it. I just have to make sure that it's up to date. You'll need a flash drive with exFAT big enough for the zip, either Type C or Type A and an OTG. Are you still on this? |

misc-recovery is fairly generic and is just a way to reboot to recovery if you don't have buttons or menus. You could just reboot to the normal system then "adb reboot recovery". I have recoveries for the Poke3 & Poke5 with the autoupdate function. Right now I'd like to keep a bit of a hold on them and work with people that want to use them. I don't want to have them posted all over the place and have to say, "Oh, you used that version, I forgot about that. It doesn't work." |
