No, she's gonna stay here and talk about pumps and stuff. Hey, that shoe that fits like a glove looks cool! Can I try on a pair? My paws are a bit narrow but I think they'll fit.

Hey VR, ask your pet human, even guys have shoe problems.

I have nerve damage in the feet from taking Lipator. For me the best shoes are Nike Free. They give support and feel like walking without shoes. There is relief in the soul both front to back as well as side-to-side.

I'm getting my summer shoes out NOW, by Saloman.

Quote:
  • Uppers are breathable mesh, with large "windows" for improved ventilation relative to the original Techamphibian.
  • Bamboo lining reduces friction and increases comfort.
  • Quicklace™ lacing system has a lace-keeping pocket on the tongue.
  • An adjustable heel converts the shoe to a slip-on slide.
  • Midsoles are compression-moulded EVA.
  • Outsoles are non-marking Sandal Contagrip® with increased ground contact and siping for improved wet traction.
These are pricey, but are extremely light. I can wear them at the beach and in the water. Very easy to slip on. Mesh upper lets the shoe breath.

WDE. (Men like shoes too)

Nah. Shoes are only for pups who haven't yet learned that they get stuck in your teeth. I prefer leather purses, myself. Bigger impact.

I am actually trying to find a new pair of shoes as we speak... I have to admit I've hated every shoe I've looked at in the store, and most of what I've tried on... I've been partial to looking at New Balance and Asics... I just wish that there were more 'plain' designs... Just a nice comfortable white pair of sneakers, that's all I'm asking for...

I just bought some plain white New Balance shoes from Zappos.com, so I'm sure they can be found. I also have various colors from Skechers (including plain white). I like the MBTs much better.

I bought my dad a pair of Adidas' Stan Smith sneakers.

He wore then for 15 years.

I went for an hour walk in the MBTs and boy are my legs tired. I don't usually stretch before my morning walks but these shoes are teaching me otherwise. My calves which start tight and warm up after about 15 mins were burning the whole time. I had to stop every once in a while and stretch.

The MBT site does warn you that you have to build up your wear time over a couple of weeks and I'm sure I pushed it. I could feel my whole leg working (even the inner thighs and my weak right Achilles heel). There was still no pain in my left foot and they were still comfortable even if they wore me out.

I also tried them on the elliptical machine yesterday and they better than my regular shoes for that as well.

Here are the pairs I purchased.

They do warn you, but do we listen? I found out I had to take it more easy the first times, too. It'll soon get easier.
