Reminds me of watching Thierry la Fronde when I was a lot younger. One of the few French language programs we watched.

It apparently popularised the catapult. Now there’s a thing. Good for frightening moggies but never aimed directly at them.

Fond memories of building a trebuchet in high school. Sadly once the school administrators found out what it's capabilities were, it was dismantled. Looking back, using the goal posts on the school field as a target was not a good idea.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing. A good job we didn’t have it then otherwise we’d have missed out on all sorts of experiences (usually slightly destructive). We were definitely wannabes!

Looking at some of the stuff we did in high school, I consider it a miracle that all of my group survived to graduation.
