Read Tolkien Day
I can’t believe that I didn’t know that March 25 is Read Tolkien Day. I had never heard of that before. The major shops (Amazon, Barnes &Noble, Kobo) have quite a few of his books on sale if you don’t already have them. I haven’t read The Lord of the Rings in quite a few years. Maybe it’s time for a reread.

The Fellowship left Rivendell on December 25th.

The One Ring was destroyed on March 25th (one possible date of Easter.)

March 25th is Lady Day (the Catholic Feast of the Annunciation), and was the traditional beginning of the new year in England prior to the adoption of the Gregorian calendar. Since Tolkein thought of Middle Earth as being a sort of mythical prehistory for England, it's probably not surprising that he picked that date for the destruction of the One Ring and subsequent beginning of the Fourth Age.

Good luck finding more than the top few Tolkien titles with Amazon's broken search. Even the Author link turns up junk or stuff with same titles written by others!

I don't see any on Sale on Amazon UK.
