The last episode of the series was an awful sexist thing where Captain Kirk swaps bodies with his jealous (and crazy) ex-girlfriend. She then spends the of the episode doing a horrible job of trying to impersonate him, attempts to execute all the senior staff for 'mutiny,' then they randomly switch back with no explanation other than the episode running out of time.

There's also a pretty funny blooper in this one. At one point, "Kirk" has called all the officers to the briefing room in order to accuse Spock of a conspiracy to take command of the ship... repeatedly yelling about mutiny and pounding the table and getting into screaming fits at Spock:









Then "Kirk" walks off in a huff. A moment later, you hear the door opening and closing.



Except... uh, the only door to the room is in the other direction.

So after "Kirk's" exit from the room, is Scotty's "what the devil" expression in reaction to the Captain acting so strangely... or to the Captain ejecting himself through a wall?

I watched Society of the Snow on Netflix. True about the Uruguayan plane crash in the Andes. In Spanish with titles. There is an option to watch dubbed in English and other languages.

I liked the Polish show Angel of Death but definitely not for everyone. Now watching The Bank Hacker from Belgium -not so much my cup of tea but love the little girl.

Anybody here watching that "Murder at the end of the world" thing on Hulu? Stars Clive Owen (must be Clive damned Owen month) and is done by the darling of the chi-chi, Brit Marling?

I watched the first 2 episodes and lost interest - really didn't care about the characters or the plot.

Ah, so, it's not just me. I almost became positively enthusiastic about the idea that this might be a remake of "10 Little Indians" from Dame Christie herself.

When you start actively wishing that all the characters will be killed, it's a bad place to start a murder mystery.

And the entire arrogant idea that a bunch of creatives are going to get together in some remote house in Iceland and solve the climate crisis— well, the thing started off making me puke to begin with. It's just SO Sundance, ain't it?

I mean, listen, folks, I work with these people all. day. long. Trust me, they can't find a metaphor, much less solve a major crisis.
Hell, most of them can't read or follow instructions. Solve Global Warming? YEAH, RIGHT!!!

My sister and I watched it this week. I found it boring and the characters unlikable. The storytelling was slow, too and I found the ending anticlimactic.

Well, we watched epi 3 last night, due to a lack of anything else (much) to watch and nope, ain't getting any better.

When the Clive Own char votes the heroine (?) off the island, I wanted to say something unladylike. Something I would have said, had I been in her shoes at the moment. I mean...daft. The whole premise is utterly daft, badly written, poorly executed and as you said, Rumpel and as Pooh did too, if you hate all the characters, who ya rootin' for?

It's Super Bowl time. Since I'm a cord-cutter and no longer get the traditional cable channels, I had to sign-up for a free trial to one of the expensive streaming TV packages (YouTube Live TV) to be able to watch the game.
