First off, thank you very much for this forum. I would like the image for my Clara2E,(N506) it got bricked by a disconnect while either syncing or an update, I forget which.

Thank you in advance

After that, I wrote the image to a new SD Card using "USB Duplicator Image Writer" from the same thread. After that, plugged the device to computer, and performed factory reset by pressing the button until black display appeared. After that, device running again! So you can recover your device by cloning your old SD card. I suppose you can do this in all devices.
Good to hear that you found a solution to your problem. It will work if the recovery partition on your original µSD card is not damaged.

Got the PM, thank you very much. Now to see if we can teach this old dog a new trick. Will post an update after I'm done.

No problem opening the case, but the memory chip was a different story. Someone glued it in with a sticky film. Got it out, but now there is sticky film on the contacts of both memory chip and socket. Anyone else have this problem? If so, how did you fix it?

Hello,
Sorry for my broken and google english...
I have a kobo nia and I tried to clone the internal SD card with AOMEI backupper and Mini tool Partition Wizard as I have seen in tutorial...
I think my original card is corrupted because my new card is not recognized by the kobo nia.

Please, Can you send me in MP the image for Kobo Nia 306?
Thanks a lot

Does AOMEI backupper even have the capability to create an usuable backup image of a SD card with mixed Linux ext4 and FAT32 partitions? Using the Flash Disk Image Creator and Flash Disk Image Writer suggested in the instructions is probably a better path to follow.

Indeed, I followed and restarted everything with your software but the SD card seemed corrupted.
Bathroom,
I repeated the tutorial using the PM image and there...

Great, my Kobo came back to life thanks to you.
A huge thank you
