You will need to have Private Messages enabled before you can be sent the link. If you don't see that option in the "Edit Options" of the User control panel, you should post in the Requests to enable Private Messages thread to ask for PMs to be enabled.

Once PMs are enabled, please re-post in this thread to let me know.

The main way to avoid issues is to use a new µSD card. A lot of reports that re-imaging the original µSD card errored out but using a new µSD card did work.

For the most part, I've just used the tools mentioned in the Memory Upgrade Mod Guide (With Pictures). Minitool's Partition Wizard has gone through multiple versions while the Flash Drive Image Creator and Flash Drive Image Writer seem to have changed their names to USB Duplicator Image Creator.exe and USB Duplicator Image Writer.exe but with no other changes. You can also try Balena Etcher for multiple OS or dd for MacOS and Linux though dd's command line can be a bit cryptic.

For formatting the µSD card, I use the SD Association's SD Memory Card Formatter for Windows/Mac.

Please remember that replacing the µSD card is not a magic cure. There are other hardware issues that this will not fix.

Dear DNSB, I have my PMs enabled. Would you please send me the image for Kobo Wifi N647, and guide me how to do next steps in details? My Kobo is dead, i.e. it does not contain any folders when I connect it with my computer, even after doing factory reset. It is also unable to join any networks even those networks are open. When I copy books onto the internal card, it shows "No books found".
