Kindle Paperwhite : remove author in titles of PDF

Hi there !

I don't understand why all titles of my PDF files are formatted as following on my Kindle Paperwhite :

#First-name #Last-name - #Title

I just would like to have :
#Title

..as the author name is already displayed below the title and it's harder to find a book starting by a first name.

For instance, for a random book, file is saved as following in Calibre database :

Astrologie azteque simplifiee - Luis Huerta.pdf

--> I checked metadata, all fields are well filled in

On the Kindle, file is renamed as following (Title and Author have been inverted) :
Luis Huerta - Astrologie azteque simplifiee.pdf

--> I checked again metadata, everything is fine

So in my understanding, it seems that metadata are not taken in count, title of the PDF is displayed based on PDF file name...

Any help on this matter would be really appreciated !

If the Kindle is not reading metadata from inside the PDF file its likely a bug in the firmware you should report it to amazon. Although given Amazon's track record, its likely a deliberate bug they introduced to make side loading less attractive.
