My Sage arrived. It has a tiny 8" screen compared to the 10.3" Scribe. It goes through the battery quickly. I've read 73 pages so far and am down from 100% to 83%. It uses the new USB-C connector which I like better as it works turned either way. The lighting has a blue tint, not the pure white like Kindle. The font adjustments have far more settings than Kindle. It has buttons!!! The magnet of the Fintie case is STRONG. It is FAST to wake to read, almost instantaneous, almost. Kindle is snail-like in comparison. I won't get rid of Kindles but I like it a lot so far.

Kindles hibernate to save battery, as they can't be turned off. That's why they're slow to wake. Kobos don't hibernate, but you can turn them off instead if you're not going to use them for a while. (Personally I never turn my Kobos off, YMMV).

I had a Finte case and my wife had a Finte case. Both worse out way too quickly. I can only highly recommend avoidance of Finte.

What firmware are you on? The recent ones have the issue with corruptions. I am still on 4.34 and no corruptions.
