I've had conversations with chatbots, because what's the alternative?
TPBM is aware that for those of us in the northern hemisphere, the afternoons have started to get longer. |

Isn't the shortest dat of the year in the NH usually the 21st or 22nd of December?

I own a splendid Casio solar powered radio watch, but it's not a G-Shock.
(The days are still getting shorter, but the afternoons are now getting longer - it's the sunrise that's still getting later, and faster than the afternoons are lengthening) TPBM knows at least one book they'll read next year. |

ETA: Whoops. I can think of lots of books I'll most likely read next year, but it's never a sure thing until I pick it up. TPBM needs a haircut. |

Nope. I change the wallpaper on my phone a couple of times per year but my desktop, laptop and tablets get wallpaper changes every 5 years or so.
The PBM has a preference in text editors. |

Yes. I prefer iOS devices for the very reason many here dislike them—they are locked down and harder to have the user trash. Too many years in IT where the mobile environment was 80% Apple and 20% Android yet our services records showed over 67% of the devices that came back to us with issues were Android.
The PBM uses multiple ring tones on their smartphone. |

I wish my phone had zero ringtones.

I like snakes and have a knack for catching them. (We only have two venomous species in my state and it's very safe, although a nearby neighbor wound up in the hospital with a couple Copperhead bites last summer.) I don't test fate with ladders -- 10 or 12 feet is my limit.
Oh, the game! I haven't played since I was very young (it's called "chutes and ladders" here). I don't know how lucky I ever was since it seemed to be one of those games that just went on and on. TPBM goes out for walks often, even in the cold, dark days of winter. |

Oh, yes I do. I love to walk so mostly even when it's cold and dark (as it was last night) I just have to force myself out the door and then the walk takes care of itself.
And it's its own reward. Last night was lovely. New moon and clear, so I saw as many stars as I ever see here; I enjoyed my neighbors' lights in their windows and their Christmas trees; deep breathing of the cold air fell wonderful; I bumped into a neighbor out with his dog and that was my first conversation of the day. I got over 17,000 steps yesterday -- admittedly, that was high especially for this time of year. I'll repeat Pooh's passed-over assertion: TPBM doesn't wear leather. |
