Issue with modifying epub metadata
Hi good evening
I do not know if it is a common thing and i did not realize before but when i modify an epub cover it does indeed keep it modifyed in calibre but when i transfer the ebook to my kobo libra 2 (all kobo plugins activated) it keeps original cover... Any help? |

One possibility is that you have not restarted your Kobo to wipe the cached in memory information. IIRC, calibre will automatically update the cover and metadata in the epub when sending it to your device.

If you change the cover for an existing book already on the Kobo, you may need to power off & on to see the change.
Removing the book and re-adding it ensures the cover is correct, but then notes, position etc is lost and if the book is in a series, then a 2nd connection is needed if you remove and re-add. |
