Waterstones also offers free accessories with the reader - definitely online but last time I went into my local shop they were doing the same deal there. I think the readers are £224 in store, although I'm being offered them with a free accessory for £190.40 online.

Note that they come with a reasonable cover, and you just need a generic 'PSP' main charger (with a barrel connector, not a mini-USB one).

that's what I thought - I didn't really see much of a need for the free accessory, so was just going to pick it up anywhere where it was a bit cheaper...

though the red one is nice!

Today it looks like the Waterstones 190.40 GBP offer is over, and the reader has disappeared from the WH Smith site altogether. The best offer I can find at the moment is at PLAY.com where it is 199.99 GBP including free accessory (Leather case or AC charger). Anyone know of a better UK offer?

The Sony reader is still available from whsmith's main page at www.whsmith.co.uk for 199GBP with free accessory.

I don't know where will ship to the EU, but UK prices tend to include VAT (there are exceptions, but places like Smiths, Waterwtones etc generally do)
