And what you mention is the main reason that I am willing to pay for epub versions of material I could download for free. It takes too much time to clean up most of the "free" epubs generated by OCRring scans to make them readable.

Actually, with the notable exception of L. Ron Hubbard's story, nearly all of the others are available as individual stories at Project Gutenberg, in a variety of formats. I download the EPUBs, and I've been very happy with them.

Of course, if you're interested in the columns and want a real feel for the fandom of the day, the whole magazine could still be a good deal.
