Almost done with it, But I'm just feeling dumb, where do get get the "update_hotfix_languagebreak-{language you want to end up with}.bin" for step 2 in the Post Jailbreak? I've been looking around and can't find what I'm supposed to do there.

Please ignore me, still running into issues, but it seems my extractor on my computer wasn't showing any .bin files, installed winrar and there they are.

That doesn't seem to work - my PW5 also silently updated to 5.16.3, shows the *** JAILBREAK *** text while booting, but the second I put the old FW bin in the root folder and disconnect the device, there's a popup saying the update is invalid and then it gets deleted from the device.

I've also managed to get KUAL to run after FW update, using the latest build posted in the Snapshots page, installed KOReader shows up in the entry list, but when I try to run it, it just silently goes back to the Book list.
Anyone knows how one could go around fixing that?

Last entries there are today at 2 am, just before the unwanted FW update.
Nothing gets added to it when I try to run it now - KUAL/JB issue, I imagine?

Yes, at first reboot twice, if doesn't help - reinstall the hotfix via mrpi.

Which hotfix (sorry for asking, just want to make sure)?
The one in LanguageBreak.tar.gz? That's installed by UYK, not MRPI, unless I'm missing something?

You can try installing it with mrpi it should work too and apparently it works better sometimes

What fw version are you on? Are you sure you are using latest nightly koreader? Do you have a *** jailbreak *** notice on startup?

I started the JB on 5.16.2.1, it installed fine, both MRPI and KUAL and KOReader (latest release from Github).
I went about setting up KOReader, noticed it didn't have any dictionaries included, the app helpfully suggested enabling Wifi to download one, which I did.
Closed KOReader after setting it up, didn't think to disable Wifi/delete the BIN files from root, and just shut the Kindle down and went to sleep.
Woke up in the morning to Kindle having updated itself to 5.16.3.1, the boot screen showed **** 5.16.x.x **** or something like that, KUAL did show up in the book list but trying to open it resulted in 'Wrong app' or similar prompt.
Reinstalled the JB fix (update_hotfix_languagebreak-en-US.bin) through UYK menu, installed fine, on subsequent boots it shows the **** JAILBREAK**** note on boot.
I updated both MRPI and KUAL with most recent versions (released few hours ago, downloaded from the Snapshots thread), I also updated the installed KOReader to latest nightly from https://build.koreader.rocks/downloa...65_2023-10-31/ - the kindlepw2 version
KUAL can be started but clicking any of the extensions installed (KOReader and Helpers in the menu) only results in return to book list.

(so, to reiterate, PW5 16 GB version, yes, **** JAILBREAK **** shows up on boot, yes, latest KOReader nightly, kindlepw2 version, sadly it's on FW 5.16.3.1 due to me being careless with Airplane mode)
