Yes. Swearing in capitals is definitely boorish at the very least. I get that @HLS was obviously deeply moved but shouting in open forum isn’t the way to go IMO. And I do not see how @Issybird was rude - I agree with @ApK and @CRussel FWIW.

I can understand the aversion to profanity, but surely the use of all caps in a "rant and vent" thread should be permitted?

I'm not opposed to a choice curse word for emphasis myself. Especially if I've just stubbed my toe or stood on LEGO on my night-time bathroom visit.

Yes, my kids loved strewing killer Lego blocks everywhere and I will admit to a few choice words muttered under my breath though that was likely a waste of effort trying not to expand the offsprings' vocabularies.
