I absolutely detest MNF's two overlapping games format, and the excessive split-screen coverage that they want to push because of it. I've chosen the game I want to watch. Let me watch it on my entire screen!

Got two prescriptions delivered by mail. Whoever packed them didn't secure the locking top to one of the little plastic bottles and, when the envelope was opened half the pills spilled out and fell directly into the garbage bin. A few phone calls to the pharmacy were answered by their automated system and, eventually, disconnected. So, I had to drive to the pharmacy and stand on line anyway.

I tried mail delivery from CVS during the pandemic - they just put the bottles into a soft sided mailer - bottles arrived crushed to bits - I had to sort the pills out from the shards of plastic - only tried this once.

Annoying when you order an Uber ride the driver cancels as they drive right past you. A ride around 15 miles is not a hard drive. You would think a long ride pays the driver better. Anyways I tip better on long rides for I understand it's not always convenient. i wish there was a way to put a note on my profile that drivers can see stating i tip well on long rides.

From what I read, the 2 games was always the plan. I don't think it had to do with the strike.

I have a rant about stupid accidents that result in serious injury. My hair stylist, who is also a friend and one time co-worker, suffered a serious life threatening head injury after being thrown off the back of a golf cart.

She's in a coma, has had a couple of strokes, had part of her skull removed, and needs assistance breathing. The family uses carts all the time going to and fro family homes that are close to each other. She's just 53 I think. I think her brother was driving the cart, and must feel just horrible. Just a stupid accident.

So sorry to hear that. Head injuries can be very serious.

It was a golf cart, not a bicycle, but should serve as a reminder to all cyclists of the importance of wearing a cycle helmet.

Add to the bicycles the electric scooters (that look like a motorbike) that have popped up in recently years, I see a lot of them on my walks and pretty much always the driver doesn’t where a helmet, I’m sure if they have an accident nothing will happen to them because everyone knows that helmets are for riding motorcycles, and if it isn’t mandatory surely it’s because they are unnecessary for that kind of vehicle.

In contrast I often cross paths with two electric scooters (the ones where you travel standing) users that are all geared up, one looks like he is going to do a motocross ride, if he falls is chances to come away in good condition are pretty good compared to the other ones.

Just hung up on another Telemarketer.

Somehow I got put on a list of diabetics. Now with endless calls trying to get me to to purchase their diabetic wares.

Only, I am not now, nor ever have been, a diabetic (either type 1 or 2). No way to ind the list to get off it.

ARGH!

Get a phone that let's you block numbers, and pay the extra for Caller ID. Don't recognize the number, let it go to voicemail. No message? Block it. It's a never ending game, but it really does cut down on them over time.

I let all numbers I don't know go to voicemail. More than one call from the same numbers are blocked. Hubby gets way more spam calls than I do for some reason.

I can't silence all callers not in my contacts because doing so caused a problem when my mom got locked out of her apartment.
