I had once - when my Libra got fully charged, it disconnected. Afterwards it connected and immediately disconnected. When not fully charged and if I transfer the books quickly before it charges fully, it stays connected.

Yikes, don't do that! Safely eject the Kobo from the computer and let the Kobo detect this and import BEFORE yanking the cable.

At least for me, ejecting from Windows is never detected by my Libra. I have to eject and then unplug the USB cable to get the device to start processing new books. Perhaps ejecting from Calibre behaves differently.

I would also suggest rebooting the device between connects, just to prevent a bug where file-locks sometimes remain open (which may corrupt the sqlite db). Hopefully this'll be fixed again soon.

Yep, I don't have this issue and I always eject from Calibre. It may take a little while before the processing starts, though; it doesn't happen immediately.

I don't remember if I have ever ejected from Windows (probably have, but it was so long ago I have no recollection of it), so can't comment on that.

Yes. When I eject from calibre, but do not unplug, the Kobo home screen will soon appear and any new books will be imported. (Although I have no problem when I unplug either before or after the home screen appears.)

When I eject from Windows (calibre NOT running), the home screen never appears. I have to physically unplug for that.
