Another 30℃ day is predicted. Which means that it's unofficially a heatwave. We still have three more hot days to go, so it might end up being an official heatwave.

There's barely any wind in the next couple of days. Which means that air quality will be bad.

I was down at Atomic Empire over by the Target and Sam's and the thunder was so loud it sounded like someone was dancing on the roof. We left before any rain hit. It seemed like the storm followed us all the way to northern Orange Co. without ever actually raining on us. We got side-swiped here at the house - wind but no rain.

It's a misty morning. When I woke up it thickened, then it receded for a while and now it's getting thicker again.

I'm hoping it'll be misty for a while; it means the sun has less time to heat up the house.

But it'll be another 30℃ and sunny day once the mist is gone. Tomorrow it'll be one or two degrees warmer.

Yesterday afternoon we had to run some errands and according to the car's outside thermometer it was 36℃ in the sun. Officially the maximum temperature was between 29 and 30℃.

Still looking forward to Tuesday, when it's "only" going to be 24℃, which is still too warm but a lot better than the last week.

Friday it was hot and sunny and became dark in the afternoon. I heard thunder at 3:30 and again a few hours later, but not a whole storm. It rained but not that hard. Temp went into the low 70s but still very humid, so I had to turn the AC on again.

Just had a coolish but humid last walk of the night.

Sunny and warm in the afternoon but still great weather to be outdoors.

Today was supposedly the last day of the hot weather, it was almost 28℃ at 2pm. Currently, 10.30 pm, it's cooled down to 20℃. Earlier they predicted a rainy night with heavy rain and thunder, but it looks like we're getting a short shower within the next hour, but hopefully it'll cool down a bit more.

It's still 27℃ in my bedroom, and there's no wind to speak off. So despite having a fan in the window it hasn't cooled down in the last four hours.

Tomorrow it'll be around 25℃ and on Wednesday around 20℃, after that the temperature will go up a couple of degrees over the weekend. But at least the night will be cool. I'm keeping my finger's crossed that the house cools down quickly.

This afternoon it was very humid and changing between sunshine and very cloudy, about 75 degrees. I got home about 4:30 PM. There was a t-storm at 5 and another long one at 6 and then more rain.

A fairly cool day with a mix of sun and clouds. The forecasters say that there is an high chance of rain tomorrow morning and afternoon. Yah!
