How to hide apps ?
Hi
Very happy owner of a brand new Ultra Tab C, I'm bored by something. How can I "hide" the useless/non removable apps out of putting them all in a group on desktop ? Is there also a way to remove the screen avalaible on left when swiping right ? Thanks Vincèn |

You can wait until the EU law goes into effect where the OS will have to allow included apps to be removed. Then when a new firmware is released after that, you should be able to remove the apps you don't want.

If you are rooted you can:
Code:
# pm disable com.boring.app |

And wouldn't you be interested in installing another launcher and customising it to your preferences?

Thanks but first if European laws were efficient it would be known :-D I don't expect something like that to happen (big ones like Samsung among others don't care so I don't expect Boox to comply neither !

Use app-hider apps to hide apps,The most effective software I've used is a launcher-like software that allows you to customize your desktop and what's displayed on it.

Look at Apple app ecosystem. Notice, that you can sideload in EU regions, but not RoW. |
