Kindle sticking at end of each chapter

Whenever I get to the end of a chapter, I can do nothing else; not turn a page, go back, pull up a menu or anything else.
This has only just started & I had no problems with the book I'm currently reading until this problem started.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Try a different book or try updating the firmware if it's not the latest version.

And try restarting your Kindle.

If it happens with every book, it's the Kindle. Restart it, but one particular book may be causing it.

If it's only one book, or one book triggers it for all books, then download a fresh copy (to PC, not Kindle), remove DRM if present, convert to epub2 in Calibre and use epub check and fix it. Then convert it to azw3 and copy to Kindle via USB (Not Sent to Kindle via web or email).
