Yes <edit: I mean No>, on my PW at least , but I thought it might be inappropriate to bring that up here?

New Humble Book Bundle up: Seanan Maguire urban fantasy. It covers her October Daye and Incryptid series.

https://www.humblebundle.com/books/s...dle_bookbundle

It’s another redeem via Kobo offering, which is good because the ebook editions available in the UK are at least 2 behind on October Daye. It’s not such a good bargain for me as I got most of the October Dayes when they were up for the series award at the Dublin Worldcon.

My final tally (new ebook) was October Day 13-15 plus the non-series, and all 10 Incryptid (I have 1-5 in paperback). So reasonable if not such a good bargain for me as the Valdemar bundle.

Yeah, thanks to recent Hugo Packets I have everything in the Seanan McGuire bundle except InCryptid 10. Otherwise, I'd definitely get it.

Here's a listing of what's what in the McGuire Bundle (as Humble Bundle has everything mixed between the tiers.)

InCryptid
#1 Discount Armageddon
#2 Midnight Blue-Light Special
#3 Half-Off Ragnarok
#4 Pocket Apocalypse
#5 Chaos Choreography
#6 Magic for Nothing
#7 Tricks for Free
#8 That Ain't Witchcraft
#9 Imaginary Numbers
#10 Calculated Risks

October Daye
#1 Rosemary and Rue
#2 A Local Habitation
#3 An Artificial Night
#4 Late Eclipses
#5 One Salt Sea
#6 Ashes of Honor
#7 Chimes at Midnight
#8 The Winter Long
#9 A Red-Rose Chain
#10 Once Broken Faith
#11 Brightest Fell
#12 Night and Silence
#13 The Unkindest Tide
#14 A Killing Frost
#15 When Sorrows Come

The final book is the Quentin Sollys novel Full of Briars, which is basically #7.5.

Pretty good, really! I appreciate that while not every book in each series is in there, at least they're in sequence without gaps. I wish I'd kept up on my Hugo bundles though...

Bundle is only missing the 2022 and 2023 novels from InCryptid. And the 2022 novel from October Daye. (2 more novels in October Daye will be out in the next couple months.) Full of Briars is short fiction (novelette?) in the October Daye world.

The Seanan McGuire bundle is done through the Kobo store, like the Tad Williams one was. I know some folks were not thrilled with that.

I haven't read the Incryptid series but I give the October Daye series a high recommendation. Urban fantasy with a fey focus rather than werewolves/vampires.

Book 12 of the Incryptid series is on sale at Amazon for $1.99. That would just leave book 11 to get at full price if you were doing a full read of the series. (Which I just might do. )

Book 1 of the Chronicles of the Cheysuli, Shapechangers, by Jennifer Roberson is on sale at Amazon for $.99.

This is an older series, originally published in the mid 80s. I read them in high school and remember them as being pretty solid fantasy. I grabbed it to start a reread.

Is the series complete at 12 books, or is it ongoing?

Only books 1-10 of October Daye (excluding the Quentin novella) and 1-3 of Incryptid are available as ebook in the UK at Kobo and Amazon, which is why I’m glad these bundles are available. The last Hugo bundle I got was 2019 (October Daye 1-12) and the NetGalley links have expired; fortunately I downloaded them but it’s good to now have another back-up. Even with what I had already, there’s 14/26 ‘new’ to my Kobo, so a little over £1 per book.

I have not read any of her books but am tempted by this offer.
Heck they have to worth 70 cents a book.
Well I have 20 days to decide.
I got a kobo account when Sony closed their ebook store and moved all the books to kobo.
