I live alone, so no. My cats aren't interested in most human food, with two exceptions: ham and for one of them, yogurt. Those two things I have to share every time I take them out of the fridge, unless I want to lock myself in the bathroom for eating.

Unfortunately not. Today I visited the Hammersmith Apollo website (Eventim nowadays), because I've found it was the home of two of my favorite live gigs ever: Dire Straits Alchemy and Europe Live from the Dark.

No, although I know what it is about. I hate dystopias; I've constantly struggled with depression and the pointlessness of existence all my life, so I absolutely don't want to read books that would likely reinforce those thoughts and feelings. The daily news is bad enough.

PBM still believes that humanity will be able to solve most of its problems.

... however, there's a NLP maxim that makes sense to me which says: if you plan to do it "some day", it won't happen.

I never knew about Winnie's quotes, will need to delve more into this undiscovered philosopher's concepts, lol.

(regarding Orwell's 1984: I had it as school required reading and i'd say I've never read a book that made such an impact on me - well, except for Douglas Adams's Hitchhiker's.., in a different way)

Yep. Late in life. Just as well -- in my young adulthood I wouldn't have had the patience for parenting.

no, and I've already had some kind of early retirement until 2018. For other reasons, since february I've been having a lot of spare time - delayed change of headquarters.
