Does i2Reader support custom fonts? How well does it respect the CSS? Does this support ePub as it doesn't mention ePub on the website?

Custom fonts: I believe so. It's not something I use, but you can create your own theme. In there, for each formatting style, you can choose various things like for example the font. If I click on the font chooser in the theme editor, it brings me to a list of what looks like the iPhone's fonts. As far as I know you can import/install fonts in an iPhone, which would put those fonts onto that list. See also http://en.i2reader.net/themes.html.

Don't know about how well it respects CSS - the book I'm currently reading looks well formatted. If you have an ebook that is a good showcase for CSS formatting - feel free to send it to me, I'll test it.

ePub format: ALL my books are in that format. So: Yup.

Couldn't be more complicated. I have to create a new theme every time I want to change the font, line spacing or anything else?

Well formatted?
Well…the first 2 pics are from i2reader, the next ones from MapleRead.

To put it politely for once, I would strongly advise against i2reader

Well, you would probably create the theme only once and set the formatting to your liking. Or maybe have two themes to switch between, depending on the type of book you're reading. I created one theme, made the adjustments (mainly background set to white, letters to black) and left it at that.

About the formatting - not sure which is better, without more context. If the first two pictures are from i2reader, formatting looks good. It even rendered the title "C.H.BECK [ ] WISSEN" in a different size and font formatting. What would be the desired formatting?

It looks like i2reader stores the books on the cloud. I need off line books - can you read them off line?

As far as I have seen, using iCloud is an option. If you enable it, then iCloud will be used to sync stuff including the books themselves. Probably makes sense if you're using multiple devices. I'm currently only using one device, but have still enabled it to have a backup of my settings.

Since it also shows the amout of free storage on the device and iCloud can be left disabled - I'm sure you can read books offline.

Is bookfusion a sink?

Since I am always checking alternatives I am testing the free version of bookfusion a bit. It seems that boofusion is a "sink", i.e. it is easy to add books to bookfusion, but once there, you can't get them back out again - or am I missing something?

i2reader UI

On my device i2reader shows a german UI, that has apparently been created by google (or similar). Google translations have become a real nuisance, and this one is absolutely terrible. Can I switch to english somehow?

It should be possible if you go into the iPhone settings (not i2reader settings), search for "i2reader Cloud" in the list of applications and switch the language there. Maybe you'll have to close and reopen i2reader for the language to change in the app.

Context, which context? You are kidding, aren’t you?
The i2reader formatting is absolute crap.

Perhaps someone reported this change and I missed it in all the posts, but if not, I thought I should mention that iMazing now requires a full license to transfer the Marvin app from an old iPad to a new iPad. At the time of post #88, the free trial version worked.

There was no mention of this requirement by the iMazing software as I set up the transfer until I selected the final button to transfer the app, which is kind of jerky. I have no other use for iMazing other than this one-time transfer, so $64.99 seems steep. I'd happily pay $10-20 for just this one transfer. Oh, well.

Why do you need to get books out of Bookfusion? You should have copies of the eBooks you've added to Bookfusion.

I'm using Bookfusion and it's working pretty well. There is one thing I'd like to have fixed. There is too much blsnk space at the top/bottom of the screen. If that space was reduced, there may be room for one more line.

Does BookFusion allow annotations that one may wish to transfer back out???

Hey there, the size of the books use the same space as they do on your Desktop or Dropbox. As you mentioned they take up 48GB but you uploaded a couple books and hit the 20GB limit for that level account.

If you have a lot of comics they will use a lot of space. Please share your ticket number of me to check this personally.
