The Outsider by Stephen King is $2.99 at Amazon, B&N and Kobo US. Get it while the getting is good. SK sales tend to be short-lived.

Also, the HBO miniseries is pretty good (unlike the disappointing Hulu 11/22/63).

Are you familiar with the writer? I enjoy horror, but as I get older my tolerance for anything too graphic diminishes. I'm hoping this leans more toward psychological horror than anything gory.
