I mean, Jamie Bamber's okay, if you're petite and all that, but what I've seen of trailers, coming attractions all seem pretty Danged bad. Anybody?

Also finished a binge watch of Atypical - alternated between really irritating and mildly entertaining - at least most of the characters engaged my interest - quite a well chosen ensemble cast.

Currently watchIng "Waking the Dead." A BBC cold-case procedural from the early 2000s. A tiny bit dated, but still quite entertaining. Good focus on the case without a lot of team relationship side-drama. At least not so far.

We watched the 4 seasons of Wallander and 2 seasons of Trivia. Now watching the new Hugh Laurie adaptation of Why Didn't They Ask Evans? which is very enjoyable so far.

I'm a big fan of Wallander. I still use his ringtone on my phone. Young Wallander didn't quite grab me the same way, but it was still worthy.

It was cute late in the series when he asked his daughter if there was any way to change the ringtone.

I kind of liked it too but for now I'll stick with What Will We Do with a Drunken Sailor...

Last night my sister and I went to see Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. I thought it was better than The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (which isn't hard because that was bad) and Temple of Doom.

It was less humorous than previous installments and instead leaned more into references to previous films. For me it was a good ending to Indiana Jones' story and if a spin-off series about his goddaughter was made I wouldn't mind it.

I've had a very entertaining evening at the cinema. My sister and I also want to go see Oppenheimer, which is released on the 20th of this month.

Seinfeld - not sure what season, this is probably my 5th or 6th time watching it through

I also end up vaguely watching Love Island UK and other trash when the wife is watching tv. She's a reality tv nut.

On Thursdays, a few friends and I watch tokukatsu (japanese tv), lately we've been watching Kingohger, Geats and Blue Swat.

Now watching The Good Fight - have to be in the right mood to accept the comedy & magic realism elements - when it gets too much I switch to Torchwood and Dr. Who (9th doctor - my favorite - Christopher Eccleston)

Earlier this week I finished the first season of Silo, which I loved, even if it's different from the book. I also finished the second season of From, I like the show, but I would love to have some answers. It feels like that for two seasons they've been piling on the mysteries without solving any.

Otherwise I'm still watching spooky shows on YouTube.

This afternoon I plan on watching the Tour de France whilst cross stitching.

Over the weekend I watch the horror movie We Are Still Here. Which was very underwhelming. The story line was okay, more could have been done with the history, the actors weren't great and it wasn't that scary.

Summer also seems to be a time for me to watch old favourites. This time I watched The Cabin in the Woods. I like how they turned a clichéd horror movie around.
