You don't say where you are getting the "added date" so I used calibre's 'date' field. This rule colors the title column red if the calibre date is in 2023.

Take a look at the image in the message from @chaley.
Pay special attention to the two lines starting with Date (timestamp) after the line that says Only if the following conditions are all satisfied. The first conditions says if the date is after 2022-12-31, the second condition says if the date is before 2024-01-01. So basically, if the date is from 2023-01-01 to 2023-12-31, the column will get the colour. Last edited by DNSB; 06-23-2023 at 10:07 PM. |

I give up - this must be the most unfriendly program available - every entry is now RED - You say type 2022 but the third box won't let me do this as I can only enter the various options given and can't type the 2022 or anyting else

The entries enforce data types. (Red means something wrong)
The first box Must be a date/timestamp TYPE COLUMN for you to enter date type range values. The value should be in YYYY-MM-DD |

Update - Not sure why but restarting Calibre gave me the options of entering the appropriate dates which previously it didn't. It is now fixed and the only thing I now have to do is to changr the fonts to a larger size
