This appears to be the first time this book has gone on sale in the UK or in North America.

I guess it's harder to fault some marketing copywriter for writing something that was true at the time. I still feel deceived though, so probably a healthy reminder to treat with suspicion the claims of anybody trying to sell one something – “Trust, but verify.”

The first two (authorized) books of the series are on sale at Amazon for $1.99:

The first one was on sale last week, I'm crossing my fingers that they'll be going through the series one by one....

Check to make sure you haven't purchased "The Guns of Avalon" before. I had to recheck, and it shows up under my "contents and devices" as being purchased, under a different ASIN, where the linked one didn't.


I haven't checked the other yet.

The Paladin Prophecy by Mark Frost is $1.99 at Amazon, B&N and Kobo US.

Frost is the co-creator of Twin Peaks and had a terrific thriller called The List of 7 that I would highly recommend.
