Overdrive holds are massively out of date

Even when freshly synched, my "holds" section on the Kobo is never accurate. It shows holds I'd removed, and holds I'd already borrowed (and returned!) and not the books actually available to borrow. Is this usual? Is there any kind of fix?

I found the problem -- and most likely the cause of most of my kobo problems. I was using different emails for kobo and overdrive. *facepalm*

I have the same issue. I canceled the hold but it still shows on my KOBO. Also a book will show unavailable sometimes on the kobo but it I go to the website on my PC the book is indeed available.
