Sigh. That's two books DNFed and deleted this evening. I'm not in the mood to concentrate on the more challenging books I've got going, but I'm having a hard time coming up with something lighter that'll hold my attention and entertain.

Sometimes you have to lighten it up.
After 1500 pages of War and Peace I read a Wodehouse.

I just read "I'm Glad My Mom Died", Jennette McCurdy (a memoir).
It was interesting, not as flippant as it sounds and an easy read.
Now it's "Oil!", Upton Sinclair.

Reading some review books- the first 2 in a series. #1 I finished, despite the pedestrian story and poor writing style. #2 DNF. It was more of the same and just as unreadable and turgid. Maybe I’m too old for the subject and style. I went to reading the John Wyndham anthology - Jizzle. A real pleasure to read despite being older than me. Now I’m onto the new Lindsey Davis.

I'm read Wolfsong by TJ Klune. I'm about 1/2 done. It's an easy read and an odd book. Not bad so far.

I found where to report errors, and not only that I *gasp* interacted with human being. The last communication from her was that they're still looking into it.

It still kills me that there is no (original) publication date in OverDrive.
They make a big deal of the fact that the Kindle version was published on May 8th and the Epub version on May 9th but gloss over that the novel was published in 1950.

Moreover you can't search by (original) publication date.
I want to search for books after public domain and before the millenium.

And it bugs me that there are no curated lists of award-winning authors and novels: short listed, long listed, etc.

I was recently pointed to isfdb.org which covers a number of awards for speculative fiction – science fiction, fantasy, horror, etc. – all meticulously organized by multifaceted metadata (award, year, work, author; works have a list of publications in which that work appears, marked with whether it's a paperback, hardback, chapbook, ebook, …). In short, a very thorough and useful website.

ISFDB.org is about speculative fiction. Does Galgut write SF/fantasy?

The person to whom you replied explicitly stated that the site they mentioned covered speculative fiction, and provided examples. Did you miss that?
