I have exactly $10 right now for spending on a book. However, with the bloody HST in effect, that's only something around 8.65. So of course if I select maximum of $10, most of the books (sorting by bestsellers) are 8.99-9.99.

Just wanting to be helpful, without in any way devaluing your rant, you can edit the URL. Do the search with the $10 limit and then highlight the URL in your browser. The URL should include a parameter like:

Code:
&fcmaxprice=10
It will accept decimals, so setting to

Code:
&fcmaxprice=8.65
should work.

I've various bookmarks set up with this sort of adjustment.

On a similar note Epic Games store gives away free games on a weekly basis. Doesn't request credit card information, but the emailed receipt afterwards is unchanged and thanks me for purchasing the game
