Finally managed to get out to replenish my supply of Talisker 10Yr. Went directly to the spot on the shelf where it has always resided -- NOTHING.

Decided to check the expensive room, and

it's there! Plus, they had Talisker Storm ON SALE. Well, heck, I couldn't turn that down. So this week we'll be having Talisker Storm with our pizza.

But, sadly, the budget this week didn't run to both the <unexpected> Storm, AND the 10Yr. So I still have no 10Yr, but I'll deal with that in a couple of weeks.

I like Storm, but I prefer the 10yr Talisker. I'm sure my palate is faulty.

Currently sipping Deeper Roots seasonal "Bloom" blend. I'm not typically an evening coffee person, but the arrival of beans that were roasted just 4 days ago was too much for me to resist. Spring is officially (for me at least) here!

No, I'm with you, I prefer the 10Yr. But I do like the Storm, and it was on sale. Plus I haven't had it in a while. It seems "darker" somehow, a bit more intense, but not as smooth as the 10Yr, perhaps, but undeniably Talisker.

I'm getting through the last of my Reindeer Blend Coffee beans. I always stock up and freeze the holiday blends for use throughout the rest of winter. My cats were NOT happy about hearing the coffee grinder at what they perceived to be 4am.
