I remember buying this when it came out in 1973. The only edition I could find was the trade paper edition. (The bookstore, to my knowledge, never had the hardback.)

Years later, I found a hardback 2nd edition without the D/J.

I like all three of those covers. When I used to work at B&N they had a Gravity's Rainbow poster with the bomb diagram.
