Calibre logs off a user on Ubuntu
If you open preferences the session crashes. The same happens if you tap the search button on the right arrow to see the latest searches. This bug is terrible! someone with the same problem?

OS major & minor version, Desktop (Unity, Plasma, Mate, KDE, etc), CPU type (Intel/AMD or ARM etc, 32 bit or 64 bit) graphics card/driver, screen resolution, monitor setup (1 or more?) and Calibre version needed.

This will be a bug in your desktop/gpu drivers/window manager.
