You will need to have Private Messages enabled before you can be sent the link. If you don't see that option in the "Edit Options" of the User control panel, you should post in Requests to enable Private Messages to ask it to be enabled.

Once PMs are enabled, please re-post in the Need Kobo Glo HD SD Image thread to let me know. Using the right thread makes it a lot less likely you will get the wrong image.

Do you see a Private Messages option block in Edit Options? See attached image. If not, please post a request in the Requests to enable Private Messages thread. Click on the underlined text in the message and it will take you to the correct thread. Generally when you see underlined text, it's a clickable link.

How do I find out my serial number, if Kobo Clara HD is not booting up and there is nothing on the original 8gb flash card (it's empty)

I'm trying to restore my daughter's Kobo. I already have the image file.

Hold the Clara HD with the Kobo logo at the bottom. Look at the bottom of the right hand long edge. You should see S/N N0123456789ab engraved there.
