No bacon?? All of the options are just water and sand by comparison.

Yesterday I got to munch on Kendal Mint Cake. It's not very often you can get it here in Sydney. But it does mean I don't get a chance to get tired of it - if it is possible to get tired of Kendal Mint Cake that is. On consideration ... probably not.

I tried to eke it out but must confess to being a pig and finishing it in under half an hour. Just as well it's rare.

in my desk I currently have a bag of lightly salted pumpkin seeds, sesame sticks, raw almonds, a jar of home ground coffee, a can of People's Republic Green Tea, Honey and Ginseng, a jar of honey, smoked salt, peppercorns, and a bottle of tabasco. I would like to add some water crackers and brie, but then that is just a step away from cracking open the chardonnay, and then the hell with work!

I should have mentioned the bottle of Baileys of Glenrowan Founder Liqueur Muscat. Very carefully rationed out.

All low-cal, low fat, healthy snacks. That's why you're so fit and trim.

But what pray tell, is smoked salt? Or is it one of those things where I'm gonna say DUH when I hear it?

truly I could stand to lose some!

it's McCormick Smoked Flavor Sea Salt. It's very yummy on hard boiled eggs, tomatoes (I eat them kind of like apples), carrots, radishes and the like. it's in a grinder like the peppercorns and stuff you can get now.

Ohhhh . . . so not really a definite DUH , but more like a hmmm, I see . . .

Got it.

No, I don't got it, as in I have some.

I mean I get it.

None of the above. My wife has informed me that I'm dead meat if I lose my girlish... I mean, youthful... Um... ?reasonably trim? figure.

And I have too many books left to read to allow that to happen.

All requested additions have been added to the totals along with the new entry for BACON which has also been given one doggie vote for VR.
