Another very wet day. It started raining an hour ago, at 7am, and it won't stop until 9 or 10 pm tonight. From tomorrow the temperature will start to drop and Monday will also be a wet day. Hopefully after that it'll start getting dryer.

Currently 28 degrees F. at 2:00 AM here. Saturday it actually felt good walking in the evening to go to the pool, but it was very windy, especially on one block where the health club is. I don't like it cold, especially since my knee got so bad, but it was so awful a few days ago when it was damp, rainy and not as cold. We still have not had any accumulation of snow. There were flurries Saturday.

It is nice that the heat stayed on after 10 PM. Buildings are not required to have the heat on between 10pm to 6am if the temperature is above 32. Friday night it was about 33-34 and there was no heat until morning. That's what the law allows in New York.

After weeks of rain it has now turned cold again. It's currently clear and cold, -1°C, and it won't get warmer than 2°C this afternoon. It'll be a sunny morning, but in the after more clouds develop and later it'll start raining/snowing. Tomorrow will be a rainy/snowy day.

There's just been an alert for an amber weather warning for tomorrow between 8am and 10am. In part of the country, including my province, up to 5 centimeters/2 inches of snow can fall in an hour. Also, in half an hour it's supposed to snow for a little while.

If the snow doesn't melt I'll have to go downstairs before the store opens and drag out the big rubber doormats we have; in front of our store/home we've got paving stones that get slippery when there snow or ice.

Overnight a thin layer of snow has fallen. And at the moment it's also snowing a little bit. It's around 0°C at the moment, and it might get as warm as 4°C this afternoon. So I expect the snow will turn into rain later on this morning. Still, there's a chance 5 to 8 cm of snow will fall in the area today.
