As you have probably noticed, the year 2022 ended without Amazon releasing a new Kindle Oasis. (Of course...)

Once again exposing GoodEreader's "reporting" as completely fabricated. As a result, disappointed readers have called out the author of the article in the comment section below it.

Today GoodEreader felt like issuing a small response to the mishap in the form of a pinned comment. This is what they have to say for themself:

"The main reason why the Oasis did not come out in 2022 was due to the release of the Kindle Scribe, which took up all of all of the engineering power and design team."

I'm surprised they didn't try to claim the Scribe is the 2022 Oasis and that amazon just renamed it. (I wonder if I just made fodder for a new "sccop".)
