Disable hold image to expand
Is there a way to disable the function where if you hold on an image (manga in .epub) that it expands? I disabled all the gestures that I don't use, but this setting I can't find.
Thanks |

No, currently long-pressing on an image shows ImageViewer, cannot be disabled in settings by a user.

On the other hand, if you're reading manga in ePub... might I suggest rolling a hand-made CBZ yourself instead? You'll have a *much* better experience that way for this type of content

Tried that, had a worse experience on my Clara 2E. I'd get weird pages formatted and missing panels or moved to a corner more than the page would be converted.
What works best (for me) is converting anything, even cbz, to epub in KCC set to 1072x1448 and stretch/upscale ticked. Still loads faster in koreader than nickle. |

I would put that sort of issues on whatever you used to do the conversion ;o).
Regardless, the important thing is that you found something that works for you without too much hassle ![]() For context and other interested readers, I wrote a couple of scripts to do that (from sane source ePubs/CBZ, e.g., Humble or liberated Kobo store) for my own use-cases: unpack & repack. The unconverted cbz files cause the weird formatting.
The converted cbz to epub files work as expected. So actually, the only time I didn't have an issue is when I made a conversion. |

So I made a cbz from images alone, instead of a ready made cbz, and had a better experience. Hopefully I can keep this way, but I have the other method just in case.
Sorry for not fully understanding. I'm an asshole most of the time. |
