The mistake was releasing 4.34 to the Mini. That's since been fixed.

I'd need to check but I think when creating new collections in 4.35 I've had buttons full of grey and had to guess which is which. But I've sideloaded and bought books and both have worked.

Here's a screenshot of me creating a new collection in 4.35

It's not something I do all that often so I can't guarantee that this is new in 4.35 but I don't recall seeing it before.

That's odd. I don't have this glitch on my Clara HD. I'm set on Canadian French though.

Yeah, that vaguely felt like a sunxi collision handling special ;o).

Does it happen if the first button displays over a (much) shorter collection name, so that it doesn't actually overlaps with a bit of text? (You might possibly have to test with even *less* overlap, i.e., with the full popup having less overlap with... anything, which might be slightly impossible to achieve

).

The strange ghosting with the name is a bit odd, but both buttons being solid black is the awkward bit, practically.

EDIT: FWIW, it behaves just fine over here with *no* collections at all (a setup which kinda fits my "no overlap" test constraints...
