Aricha Adorsi coffee from Timbertrain Coffee Roasters in Port Moody. An early Christmas present from a co-worker. Not a bad coffee to sip while relaxing and watching the snowfall.

22 miles from my home. Right where OHLQ.com said it would be (for a change). Woohoo! My wallet's not thrilled, but Woohoo!

Well, it sounds like you both did well this week. I, on the other hand, am stuck in my house on a street that never gets plowed and has a 12% grade. So no venturing out until the rains come back and wash this ugly white stuff away.

You shouldn't have long to wait if you are getting the same rain and temperatures that the Lower Mainland is being promised. Not quite a Calgary chinook but I'll take it.

Well, given that I'm right on the Coast, and just a 20 minute float plane (or a couple of hours by car and Ferry) away from you, it should clear out by Saturday. Though it looks like the interior is going to get slammed with a very white weekend.

Some freshly ground Christmas Blend coffee beans from Fresh Market. Scared the bejeesus out of my cats when I ran the grinder, but well worth it.

Currently -9° with another 10-20cm of snow predicted for tomorrow though that will change to freezing rain and then rain by Saturday as the temperature climbs. Could be worse, the old home town is currently -29° with a predicted low of -36°.

Edit: sipping on a mug of hot glögg.
