Posting 9 messages making the same request in multiple forums and multiple requests in the same forum separated by less than an hour does not do anything to get you the link to the image faster and is only causing unnecessary annoyance to myself and others.

This is not a paying gig nor the most important part of my life. Spending time with family trumps spending time on Mobileread especially around this time of year.

You still do not have Private Message enabled. As mentioned in my previous reply to one of your posts ( see message #523 in the Kobo Glo: Need SD card image ), this is needed before you can be sent the link.

So once again, please post a request in the Requests to enable Private Messages thread.

Hello,
My sister's Kobo Glo got bricked during an update, and is stuck on an infinte "restoring" loop. She is leaving for 4 months of travel in a couple of weeks from now, so I would like to repair it for her. I would be super grateful if I could get an image for the Kobo Glo so I can flash it to the SD card and hopefully get it back up and running before she leaves. Would you have an image like this for me, or know where I could find one? Thank you!

Thank you DNSB, you saved my e-reader. I performed the update operation with the latest firmware version using the Kobo Desktop software but also directly by copying the latest firmware update to the .kobo directory. Both failed. The latest firmware version is defective. I installed an older version of update (2020) and was able to configure the e-reader. This was impossible with only the supplied disk image. Thanks again

Hi Guys,

Hopefully u can help me saving my GLO HD.
The latest update doensnt work well, and i accidently formatted my internal SD card...

I requested acces for PM, hopefully anyone can send me a IMAGE link?

One note is that this thread is supposed to be for the Kobo N613 Glo image requests and not for the Kobo N437 Glo HD image.

Sorry, than I will be confused about de models.

The model number on the device says N613, so I will me on the right place. I thought I had the GLO HD, but now I know it’s the GLO. Thnx!
