Partners22 is working well for me recently - two pre-orders of Martin Edwards books, both coming out September 1. Then today, He recommended Francis Vivian, and the publisher reissuing them digitally, Dean Street Press posted an interesting blog article about Vivian' series. I bought the first two in the Knollis series at Kobo using Partners 22 for exactly the price of one at Kindle.

Thanks for the heads up. I didn't realise they were running this promo globally again. I bought one last month, and after checking it wasn't the same promo (different closing dates) I have just bought another. Much obliged!

Canada has a buy a $50 giftcard and get a $10 giftcard. I bought mine last night and received the $10 this morning.

Has anyone else noticed that the amounts in Rakuten points for Kobo have changed, dropping e-books down to only 1%? As of just now:

And, I also received a notice that the Rakuten credit card is no more. So no bonus there. Sigh! Just makes them look less attractive on anything that is not a discountable book on sale. But for those, they are still great with the VIP discount and the Partners22 code, which still is going strong.

OTOH, it will be interesting to see if I get the 2.5% on gift cards, on the $50 card I just bought per the offer just above...

Huh. They used to not give cash back when you bought a gift card so I didn't think to check before I bought mine yesterday. Oh well.

An FYI for anytime discount -- if you buy a gift card for yourself you can then change your country to anything you want by removing your CC details.

I bought a gift card via the US store when they were giving $3 back. Changed my country to 'other' [as I live in Bangladesh & it isn't listed] and the book went from $9.99 [in the US store] to $2.31. A little checking around and some countries will change your credit to local currency at a bad rate so be sure you're still using the US$ or CA$ or whatever currency you're using to buy gift cards.

Through trial and error I found that the less-well-off countries tend to have the lowest prices. But, again, make sure you're not using a store where Kobo changes your gift card to the local currency.

Coupons work in all the stores I've used.
