Calibre to kindle
Hi I've been downloading books for ages and sending as documents to my kindle but yesterday kept getting the error
each of the following recipents was rejected by a remote mail server.The reasons given by the server are included to help you determine why each recipient was rejected. Reason 5.7.1 TLS required by recipient Any ideas what I need to do ??? TIA |

I had a similar problem this morning - Calibre's 'send to Kindle' e-mail was rejected with the following error message:
Sending failed... Traceback (most recent call last): File "calibre\gui2\email.py", line 47, in run File "calibre\gui2\email.py", line 136, in sendmail File "calibre\utils\smtp.py", line 162, in sendmail File "calibre\utils\smtp.py", line 142, in sendmail_direct OSError: Failed to send mail: SMTPRecipientsRefused({'XXXXXXXX@kindle.com': (550, b'5.7.1 IP address blacklisted by recipient')}) I was able to generate an e-mail in Outlook that successfully reached my Kindle. Am I correct in interpreting this to mean that Amazon's 'Send to Kindle' server is rejecting e-mails originating at Calibre? |
