Hey I just want to say thankyou thankyou thankyou to the devs of Koreader for this AMAZING feature!
There are so many hidden gems in this app, it takes you a while to find them. Im so glad I explored and found this one. It is incredibly, ridiculously useful for EVERY TYPE of researcher. (ESPECIALLY law, where a DIRECT QUOTE of the judge is usually necessary. It's great to be able to read the highlights you make on a case all in one document. It can really help you to understand the thing as a whole). The fact you can even export the highlights of all your books (etc) into one document is SO helpful to me. (I also just noticed that you EVEN provide an index to all the separate documents...how could I expect anything less?! ![]() (BTW, I've been wondering: do the highlights definitely export in the ORDER THEY APPEARED IN THE DOC - which is to me the most useful? And when you're reading, they show them in order of making?) While I'm on this subject: the fact that you can do MULTIPLE different highlights on the same lines of text is also GENIUS. I actually use this all the time, because later I want to be able to see a highlight that just shows a few words that quickly summarise something, but I also need the context available too, JIC. Just brilliant. The screenshots function is also very handy for similar reasons. I also only just realised Koreader can read a html document (I don't think the factory interface can do that, right?)...I had no idea! (I save everything as MHT and it doesn't see those). Very useful indeed. (Actually, is there a format I can save in from Chrome (or Firefox) that Koreader likes, that doesn't need a folder? ) Wow I am just bowled over. ![]() ![]() Last edited by LivresInOz; 10-21-2022 at 03:21 AM. |

There are some save as EPUB extensions, but I'm not sure how well they work.

Thanks!
I must admit, the html reading seems pretty good! |

Easy-highlighting is also SO useful!
I really must also praise another thing I just discovered: being able to to easily highlight a section by just selecting the first and last word (after setting it up properly). This is ENORMOUSLY helpful to me, because: - I often have to highlight across the page (in a PDF) - I find it tricky to get the precise highlight I want I need to be precise because (as described above) I'm deliberately making pages of highlights via the export feature, that Im then using to review the materials. It turns out Koreader is a researcher's dream! |
