It was for this that I originally learned the country-switching trick with Kobo accounts, so that I could buy the Elric books from Kobo's UK store, where they were available. For whatever reason, the US publisher sat on them for what felt like many years. It brings me great joy to finally have them available in the US again.

Now if only they would bring the rest of Moorcock's 50+ novels over. The guy lives in Texas, for Pete's sake!

And then in the US at least, the first digital collections published the Elric stories in publication order, rather than the chronological order Moorcock worked out for the Ace editions.

Also, the Kobo editions are not DRM encumbered. That is, when you download from Kobo you get an ePub that works anywhere (at least everywhere I have tried) instead of an Adobe Digital Editions file.
