Need an SD card image
Hello everyone, I recently purchased a kobo libra 2 and decided to upgrade the storage (I have a VERY large library.) Unfortunately I damaged the SD card in the process. Does anyone have an image of it I can use to restore?

That may be a tough one given that the SD card is glued on. I cannot see many people opening it to upgrade the storage. My suggestion is look on eBay and see if you can find a Libra 2 with a broken screen for sale. Then you can open that up and hopefully get the SD card out.

I was thinking of doing that, but thought I'd ask here first to see if anyone had an image to save me the time. Unfortunate that they glued the cards in, makes upgrades much harder.

To my recollection there’s only one person here who tried getting the card out and they reported it was a bit difficult, I seem to remember some damage being done in general (not to the card). The conclusion was you can do this but you probably shouldn’t do it unless it was a Hail Mary play to get the Libra 2 working again.

I don’t recall if they imaged the card while they had the chance.

it will also make the existing card harder to replace if it fails. perhaps the new Kobo Clara 2E will also have a glued in card.
