Listened, narration OK but some character voicing not so good. Weak insta-love story (#5). Better plot (#6) but less likable hero. I still have several more of these.

#17 - The Chosen - 4
Narration OK. More focused on the main storyline than there's been in recent books, but it touched very briefly on other developing storylines. I liked this better than some of the previous entries but the ending was a little bit more than over the top.

Midnight Breed by Lara Adrian

#12 - Crave the Night - 3
Narration is good. It's been a very long time since I read #11 so it took a while to get the characters straight again. Not as good as the earlier books. I still own 3 more, have to get through them then decide if I want to continue the series after that.

Romantic Suspense Series/Cincinnati by Karen Rose

#17/#2 - Alone in the Dark - 4
Listened, narration is very good. Entire story takes place over 48 hours but very long book. I've been away from romantic suspense for a while but she's my favorite RS author. Wasn't hard to pick the series again, but sorting out characters from previous books a little challenging. Lots of catching up to do with this series.

Past 2 weeks have had so many releases of series I'm actively reading and I haven't had time to read read at all. Audiobook time has been eating into reading time lately.

I haven't read My Cone and Only, by Susannah Nix, which is the first in her King Family series, but I've liked her Chemistry Lessons series a lot. I recognize several of the authors listed as contributing, and don't recognize others, which is a nice mix - since some I'll probably like reading almost for sure, and might discover some new authors.

AFAIR, you need the media query stuff in the epub. Amazon will not add them for you. See Media Queries in the Kindle Direct Publishing help topics. They do help to make the epub/KF8/mobi ebook look better especially when images are concerned.

OTOH, the reason that Vellum created ebooks have a gazillion classes that are not defined in either the media or the style stylesheets is one of those things that make you go hmmm.

Vellum are doing it for a lot more than the images, for which there are solutions that don't need to know size of screen or @media

You don't unless the epub is a crazy format to start with.
Amazon creates functional a mobi/KF7 file if you have ancient. Otherwise you get a KF8 (azw3) or KFX file depending on download for USB transfer or whispernet.
We test buy for a Kindle that only does mobi and for a PW3 and KK3 if we do any new style, but we test locally first.

Narration OK. #18 getting back on track, enjoyed this one. Two romances but no other developing story lines mixed in. #19 two main story lines and a brief dip into two other developing story lines. #19.5 complete standalone, skippable unless the characters show up in later novels. BPL out of audiobooks for a while, will have to read the next 4 before I can pick up with audio again.
